Scouts Welcome Marie Czapinski

The Madison Scouts are pleased to welcome Marie Czapinski in the role of Visual Program Advisor for the 2018 season. Marie has instructed numerous championship winter guards, drum corps, and marching bands including several Bands of America Grand National Champions. She is well known for her clinic presentations, integrity, and creativity. She is an active clinician and consultant for many marching bands and the Visual Coordinator for Lake Central High School Band in St. John, IN.Marie is an expert in the field of pageantry and, uniquely, the only person selected to membership in the "Hall of Fame" for Winter Guard International, Drum Corps International, and Music For All/Bands of America. She is a co-founder of Winter Guard International, played a key role in the formation and development of Bands of America, and was a DCI Championship adjudicator for 25 years. She continues to adjudicate winter guard, marching bands, and drum corps around the world.Marie is a visual clinician with Music For All and Conn-Selmer, Inc. and the owner of MarieProductions.com, a company devoted to all aspects of education in the marching visual arts. She was a Visual Consultant to the Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps in 2016 and 2017 and is currently the Director of Education for the 85 members of the Midwest Color Guard Circuit as well as a member of their Hall of Fame.
