The start of the 2011 DCI season is less than 60 days away and the Madison Scouts still have opportunities for you to work with the corps this summer. This includes spring training (May 21-June 20) and on-tour (June 21-August 13).MERCHANDISE & FOOD CREWThere are volunteer positions available for both on-tour and on-site work with the food crew and merchandise sales. "On-tour" means traveling with the corps for at least one week. "On-site" means working locally (1-2 days) with the corps when they are near your home.Volunteers are provided meals on tour as well as passes to the shows. This year volunteers will be traveling on a "sleeper bunk" bus. No specific skills are required, but you need to bring a positive attitude and strong work ethic. The work is hard, but very rewarding as you help 150 young men take the field each day.To explore opportunities and dates, contact volunteer coordinator Kimberly Pullen at volunteers@madisonscouts.orgCDL LICENSED TRACTOR DRIVERSWe are currently looking for a tractor driver to haul one of our semi trailers during portions of our summer tour.
