Scouts to Perform Concert in East Troy, WI on June 18th

The Madison Scouts Drum & Bugle Corps, one of Drum Corps International’s World Class performing units, is returning to East Troy High School from June 16 through June 21 for the final week of their annual spring training.Each year the Scouts develop a 10-minute field show that they will perform throughout North America in over 30 competitions starting June 22 in Madison, WI and concluding on August 9-11 at the DCI World Championships at Lucas Oil Field in Indianapolis, Indiana.The Scouts will be rehearsing daily at East Troy High School and welcome the community to come watch the rehearsals and preparation required to put this performing unit on the field for the summer.“The Scouts are glad to be returning to East Troy,” said Corps Director Dann Petersen. “The East Troy community has always warmly welcomed the corps during our visits and we are excited to perform for them.”The Scouts will perform a community concert on Monday, June 18 at 8:00 p.m. at East Troy High School. The corps will perform their field show titled “Reframed” featuring Mussorgsky’s “Pictures at an Exhibition”. In addition, the corps will play several of its encore pieces including “Brian’s Song”, “Celebration”, "Empire State of Mind", and the corps song “You’ll Never Walk Alone”.
