"Rockin' for a Cure" is honored to announce Jim Eutizzi as its guest speaker for the 13th annual "Rockin’ for a Cure" ALS Benefit on April 20, 2013 at the Holiday Inn Madison West starting at 6:30 p.m.Jim is a vibrant force in the battle to cure ALS. Following diagnosis, Jim embraced the battle to cure ALS through his presentations throughout Wisconsin, on YouTube Videos, and through blog sites. Now The ALS Association Wisconsin Chapter and Jim Eutizzi have officially joined forces with "Rockin’ for a Cure" to bring this 13th annual live music event to new levels of success and longevity.Jim is a drummer, so it is especially fitting he would have a passion for helping this live music fundraiser. The founder of "Rockin’ for a Cure", Steve Weekes, was a drummer in the Madison Scouts and, after his diagnosis, Steve also made it his mission to help find a cure for ALS.This year's event features a new music line-up including Jazz/Funk artists Tuesday Night Squad and The Boys and Girls Club’s Black Star Drumline. Both music groups are the creation of Scouts Alumnus Joey Banks. Returning to perform this year are The Kilties to play favorites and showcase their 2013 performance. The $20 admission provides you live music, appetizers, silent auction, and an opportunity to reunite with other Madison Scouts Alumni while supporting the ALS cause. For more information on "Rockin’ for a Cure" and to buy tickets, visit: www.rockinforacure.org
