Nick Monzi Named As Educational Coordinator

The Madison Scouts are pleased to announce Nick Monzi in the expanded role of Staff & Educational Coordinator. Nick has been on the Scouts visual team since 2012 and served in the staff coordinator role in 2015.

“As an organization, we continue to focus on the member educational experience,” said Chris Komnick, Executive Director. “Nick brings tremendous experience in the development and delivery of educational curriculum. He will be working closely with our instructional team to assure we deliver a high quality experience for our members.”Nick is a passionate entrepreneur who devotes time to pursuits in the arts, education, and athletics. He is currently the Director of Programs for Learn Fresh Education Co., a nonprofit that develops unique academic experiences through student-centered curriculum.In his role at Learn Fresh Education, he has worked with NBA teams, large urban school districts, and national after-school program providers to establish “NBA Math Hoops” community programs in 21 cities across the United States. He has also spearheaded the development of the company’s second academic program, partnering with the Denver Broncos to build a curriculum linking football with STEM subjects.Nick received a bachelor's degree in Entrepreneurship and Marketing Management from Syracuse University, and completed his master's degree at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, where he continues to take an active role in growing the presence of education innovation on Harvard's campus.
