World-Class Facilities
The University recently installed a brand new turf practice field that the corps will utilize for ensemble rehearsal, and will also have access to ample grass field space and indoor facilities to accommodate for multiple rehearsal requirements.
The Scouts will house in nearby dormitories that will ensure members, staff, and volunteers have high-quality sleep and recreational experiences.
Service to Wisconsin
An extended stay in Eau Claire means Forward Performing Arts can further deliver on its mission to continue to serve more students in the state of Wisconsin. The Madison Scouts are actively seeking performance opportunities in the Chippewa Valley for 2021, and have plans to develop a summer marching band camp experience in partnership with the Blugold Marching Band in future years.
The Eau Claire community is no stranger to loud, proud, and crowd-pleasing marching ensembles. In twenty years, the Blugold Marching Band (BMB) has grown from a 60 member, student run ensemble, to a 475 member powerhouse. Many Madison Scouts have come from the BMB and the two groups plan to foster this relationship further for years to come.
