The Madison Drum & Bugle Corps Association Inc. (MDBCA) conducted its annual meeting on November 1, 2013 in Madison, Wisconsin. Those attending were presented the preliminary annual report by Executive Director, Chris Komnick, that included detailed financial information, programming direction, and overall strategy for the Madison Scouts organization.

Per the association bylaws, elections were held for three open positions on the Board of Directors. Elected unanimously to three-year terms were Jeff Manion, Gary Bakker, and Rich Rodes, all three of whom were completing a previous three-year term on the Board.Immediately following the annual meeting, the Board held its first session and reappointed Steve Vickers, Steve Matson, Tom Moffatt, Tim Landess, Drew Hadley, and Scott Auby to one-year terms on the Board. The Board then elected Gregg Auby as President of the Board, Jeff Manion as Vice President, and Scott Auby as Treasurer.“I’m very honored and humbled to serve as President of the Board, “ stated Auby. “This organization has meant a great deal to me and my family over the years, and I can only hope to continue the excellent work of my predecessor, Jeff Manion. I look forward to working with the Board and with Executive Director, Chris Komnick, in the coming year to build on the momentum of our 75th anniversary.”Auby has served on the Board of Directors since 2006.The Board of Directors is currently promoting "Madison Corps 75", an end-of-year campaign with a goal of raising $75,000 by year’s end.
