Forward Performing Arts and the Madison Scouts are proud to be a participating sponsor at the 13th Annual Youth In Music (YIM) Marching Band Championship to be held October 14, 2017 at the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

"In pursuit of our educational initiatives, Forward Performing Arts continues to be a strong advocate of the marching arts in the Midwest," said Programs Director Dann Petersen. "The Youth In Music Marching Band Championships provides a great event for marching bands from Minnesota and Wisconsin. We are proud to be involved."

"Youth In Music is excited to welcome Forward Performing Arts and the Madison Scouts," said Youth In Music Executive Director Brent Turner. "Much of the educational philosophy and pedagogy that we support at YIM we learned through our experiences in drum corps and for me through the Madison Scouts. It is a perfect combination to have both of these entities at U.S. Bank Stadium."

The Madison Scouts will have a vendor booth at the event where you can meet members of the corps. Students interested in participating in Forward Performing Arts performing ensembles are invited to visit the booth and learn more about the Madison Scouts Drum & Bugle Corps, MadBrass SoundSport Team, Fleurish Winds Indoor Ensemble, and the Black Star Drum Line.
