Forward Performing Arts will again be presenting at the Wisconsin State Music Conference being held at the Monona Terrace Convention Center in Madison on October 27-30, 2021. The presentation, titled "Empowering Students - Anything Students Can Do, They Should Do!", will be presented by Jason Robb and Katherine Willer on Thursday, October 28th at 2:45 p.m. in Madison Ballroom C.

The session description:

Student leadership in the 6-12 music classroom is often left to those with an official 'section leader' title. Forward Leadership facilitators will offer techniques for getting all students involved in everyday leadership that goes beyond the music hall. Learn how to delegate, empower, and develop student ownership in the classroom as well as full 6-12 program organizational strategies to set up your students for success.

Joining Robb and Willer as panelists will be Forward Performing Arts Programs Director David Lofy and Erica Ruppert, Program Director of the Wisconsin School Music Association.
