Chad Duggan Joins Scouts Design Team

The Madison Scouts are pleased to announce the return of Chad Duggan to the Madison Scouts design team. Chad, an alumnus of the corps (1986-1989), was a color guard instructor for the Scouts from 1990-1998, serving as the Caption Head for the last 5 years of that tenure. More recently he has served as the color guard costume designer for the corps over the past several seasons.Chad joins James Mason's design team as Visual Coordinator.Chad has spent the better part of his career in the performing arts as an instructor, designer, and adjudicator. In addition to the Madison Scouts, he has taught the Thunderbolts winter guard and Every-Body winter guard. He is currently a costumer designer at Dance Sophisticates and has been responsible for the design and production of costumes for many DCI, WGI and BOA color guards."Chad has been a very valuable part of our resurgence over the past several seasons," stated Chris Komnick, executive director. "He has helped develop the look of our color guard costume and flags while working directly with James and the design team."The Madison Scouts are currently in the audition process for the upcoming 75th Anniversary season.
