Alumni Association Announces Leadership

The newly formed Madison Scouts Alumni Association announces its board and leadership positions for the upcoming year. Serving in the role of President will be Randy Ferrie, Andrew Hill as Vice President, and Joe Murray as a member of Executive Committee.The MSAA board of directors will include:Byron Turner - Chapter DevelopmentTony Riederer - Communications and Social NetworkingScott Pearson - Website DevelopmentKent Eversmeyer - Communications and GovernanceSam Records - Events and Chapter DevelopmentWayne Reynolds - Corps Data LiaisonKent Shook - At LargeRick Stone - At LargeBrent Turner - At LargeDuane Dewire - At LargeThe MSAA would like to thank the steering committee who committed a great deal of time to help organize the formation and launch of the association. The committee included Joey Banks, Duane DeWire, Kent Eversmeyer, Roark Haver, Andrew Hill, Randy Ferrie, Tom McInvaille, Joe Hinkle Moody, Joe Murray, Scott Pearson, Wayne Reynolds, Anthony Riederer, Jon Shaw, Kent Shook, Jeff Spanos, Rick Stone, Brent Turner, and Byron Turner.The near-term objectives for the MSAA include:

  1. Utilizing CorpsData to create a networking group for personal and professional use.
  2. Strengthen the relationship in and amongst the alumni across all generations.
  3. Support the 2019 Madison Scouts through organized and focused volunteerism.

KICK-OFF EVENTTo help launch the MSAA there will be a special online event on Friday, February 8 at 6:00 p.m. (CT) in honor of the very first rehearsal of the Madison Scouts. Artistic Director Jim Elvord will be addressing the alumni in the Madison Scout Alumni Association Facebook Group. To attend, please update your information in CorpsData and ask, on Facebook, to join the alumni-only group called Madison Scouts Alumni Association.
