"The 75th Anniversary is a historic milestone for our organization," stated Executive Director Chris Komnick. "There is no better to place to celebrate it then at the beautiful Monona Terrace which was first designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1938...the same year the Scouts were formed."
Designed by Wisconsin native Frank Lloyd Wright, the Monona Terrace is located two blocks from the Wisconsin State Capitol building in downtown Madison along the shore of Lake Monona."By securing the facilities and announcing over a year in advance, we hope that our alumni, family and fans can commit this important date to their calendar and join us in Madison next September," continued Komnick. "It will certainly be a grand celebration of the Madison Scouts and an honor to all those who participated in the corps. Attendees will get to see historical displays, enjoy performances, and meet alumni from all generations. For drum corps fans, it will certainly be a historic gathering for the activity!"The official hotel for the event will be the Hilton Madison Monona Terrace and a special block of rooms has been reserved for attendees.
