Timon Sherman is an active instructor and designer for percussion ensembles throughout Southeast Michigan. Originally from Oceanside, CA, and an alumnus of Eastern Michigan University, Timon has a wide array of experience in the arts.
In his time as a performer, Timon was a member of Farmington United Percussion Ensemble, the Eastern Michigan University Drumline, Eastside Fury, Redline Percussion, Colts Drum and Bugle Corps, and Carolina Crown, and the Honolulu Boom Lions drumline.
As an instructor, he has worked with numerous scholastic programs including Plymouth-Canton, L'anse Creuse, Farmington Harrison, Lake Orion, Southgate Anderson, and Walled Lake Central, as well as independent ensembles like Motor City Percussion, Eastside Fury, and Redline Percussion. While at Novi High School, he helped achieve multiple state championships and a fourth-place finish at WGI Championships, winning the caption of music. In his time with Redline Percussion, he has served in a number of roles ranging from Battery Manager to Bass technician to Visual Coordinator/designer. Currently, he is the Battery Arranger and Caption Head at Plymouth Canton Educational Park.
Timon is in year two as the Associate Director of the Michigan Drumline, and can’t wait to begin year two with the Madison Scouts.
