Shu Cui developed a passion for marching band through his involvement in drum corps, indoor percussion, and winter guard ensembles. His dedication to the marching arts and commitment to student development began in 2012 teaching his first program. Since then, Shu has worked with numerous high school bands, and indoor winds, percussion, and winterguard groups. His expertise in visual design, choreography, and conditioning programs has helped bands and ensembles achieve excellence. With a background in physics, Shu combines his passion for music and precision to create engaging and visually stunning performances.
Shu currently lives outside of Chicago where he works as a product manager for a technology company. He is also an avid pickleball player. This will be his first season with the Madison Scouts.
