Noah Runninger is a percussionist and educator based in Northeast Ohio. He holds a Bachelor's in Music Performance from Kent State University and teaches percussion at Norton, Barberton, and Revere High Schools. He also serves as a front ensemble instructor for Matrix Performing Arts and the Madison Scouts.
As a performer, Noah marched with Phantom Regiment (2018, 2019, 2021), serving as center marimba and co-section leader in his final year. In WGI, he performed with Matrix Open (2018, gold medalist) and Matrix World (2019–2022), earning Matrix Performing Arts' Member of the Year award three times.
Noah is grateful for the mentorship of Dr. Matthew Holm, Rob Ferguson, Dr. Janine Tiffe, Cory Doran, Dustin May, and Ryan Reed. When not teaching percussion, he works as a substitute teacher in local school districts.
