Lauren Moffatt Burns has been involved in the pageantry arts her whole life. Her teaching experience includes numerous high school programs in Pennsylvania and Virginia. She is currently in her 12th year teaching at Council Rock South HS in Holland, PA, home of the WGI Philadelphia Regional. She & her husband founded, choreographed, and taught Impact Independent Winter Guard from 2008-2012 (WGI IA 5th place 2010, WGI IA Champion 2012). In addition, Lauren has taught at the Bluecoats Drum & Bugle Corps and the Lehigh Valley Knights Drum & Bugle Corps. She was the Asst. Program Coordinator for the Raiders Drum & Bugle Corps in 2018, and Program Coordinator in 2019, bringing the team back into Open Class Finals. She joined the team at the Madison Scouts in 2021.
Lauren has been on the Executive Board for the Mid-Atlantic Indoor Network (MAIN) color guard circuit since 2014. Her performance experience includes Golden Sabers Winter Guard, the Magic of Orlando Drum & Bugle Corps, the Crossmen Drum & Bugle Corps, and the Micro Magic Performance Ensemble, which toured in the US and Japan.
Lauren received a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Lebanon Valley College. She and her husband, John, live in Glenside, PA with their adorable puppy, Tipp. She is the owner of two Hallmark Gold Crown stores in Dresher & Harleysville, PA.
