Greg Hamilton was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. He began his pageantry career with competitive gymnastics in 2004. That led him to join a competitive dance team in 8th grade. The following year, he started color guard and baton twirling.
Greg received a BA in Dance and Theatre from Penn State University. In his time there, he competed with the Penn State Eclipse Winter Guard, Elegance Baton Twirling team, and was a member of The National Honor Society for Dance Arts.
During the summer, Greg marched with the Bluecoats in 2015, 2016, and 2017. In the winter, he marched with the Pride of Cincinnati Winter Guard in 2018, 2019, and 2022. He was a part of the POC Dance Ensemble in 2020.
Greg has had the pleasure of teaching many groups including the Bluecoats, Music City, FJM Summer Clinics, Milford HS, Campbell County HS, Top Hats Winter Guard, and Norwin HS. He is excited for this upcoming summer with the Madison Scouts!
