Andrew Novak joins the Madison Scouts as Battery Coordinator with over a decade of experience in the marching arts as both an educator and performer. He began his marching career with Legends Drum and Bugle Corps (2013) and went on to perform with the Notre Dame Indoor Percussion Ensemble (2013-14).
Transitioning quickly into teaching, Andrew served on the percussion staff at Legends from (2014-19), and was also on staff with Notre Dame Indoor (2015) and Burning River Percussion (2016). He worked with Brunswick High School’s battery program (2014-19) and has been on the instructional staff at Cap City Percussion since 2020, where he currently serves as Battery Coordinator.
Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Andrew works professionally as a Customer Support Engineer and enjoys spending time with his cat, Scully.
